The Z Hotel City
The controls for the air conditioning unit were broken, then even though I managed to turn it off it kept making noises intermittently through the night. The toilet cistern dropped constantly. On the positive side, the location was good.

Tower Suites by Blue Orchid
Great location - very handy to the Tower Hill tube station and walking along the Thames. Great sized room with excellent storage and lovely bathroom. I would definitely request a room facing the Tower of London because the other side of the hotel view isn't great. Unfortunately room wasn't as photographed. ...
