The stay here was good.. but not great. My husband and I stayed for a night.. but throughout the whole day of coming and going from our room, the elevator never stopped on our floor and we would wait for it for a while that eventually we resorted to taking the stairs all the way down. When we used valet later that night, one lady had to go get her own car because it had been about 20 minutes and it took about 15 minutes or so for someone to even come out and get our car. The two most inconvenient things. The shower also doesn't close all the way which is a little bothersome.

A good hotel with friendly staff. I did receive my drinks vouchers as I booked with Expedia. The resort fee that is supposed to be waved I do not know as we were checking out there was just one person and about 10 people waiting, we waited 20 minutes so we just left the room keys. More staff could be required.

Fabulous property in old Hollywood. Grandeur, style, service, details and amenities. Wonderful staff, great food, right on Hollywood Blvd and yet a world of its own. Highly recommend!!! We stayed in a Cabanna room with large private balcony overlooking the pool. Cannot wait to go back and spend more time enjoying all the hotel has to offer.

I love everything about this property . Staff was soo friendly. So much history found in this place. All amenities were amazing, great restaurants, and really good entertainment every day. Our favorite thing to do was spending time a the Tropicana pool, and we loved the magic night at the Library bar. If I can give 11 star rating I would .

Superb hotel. Not their fault the Hollywood Boulevard is a sh*t hole but they make up for it with a neat hotel, great value and superb service. The pool area is excellent with very attentive staff. If you are visiting the area and want to see the walk of fame it’s a great location. The walk is underwhelming.

Checked in to a cabana room with broken AC and a shower door that wouldnt close all of the way. Called the front multiple times to get someone to help fix the AC. It wasnt until I physically went to the front desk to ask why nobody had come to fix it. Finally they sent a maintenance tech that said I'm not allowed to set the termostat below 70 or it'll confuse it... so after a few hours of the temperature not dropping below 76 after they "fixed" it (I can't sleep comfortably while sweating) I requested another room. This annoyed the employee named Nick who was probably the most unreliable and incompetent concierge I've ever talked with. He didnt leave messages with other staff after verbally commiting to it (spa garden specifically) and he failed to send the maintence worker up to help us with the AC. Anyway, the room we switched to was next to a janitors room or something and they were loud and inconsiderate throughout the night. Oh, kicker.. the AC in that room also couldnt go below 74. Finally, the day I went to the front and our saving grace was an employee named Falcon. She was accommodating, kind, patient, and professional. She switched us to a tower room with amazing AC and a great view of Hollywood Blvd. The bar/wait staff in the lobby are great, too. Thursday night live music was vintage and absolutely lovely. Valet messed up multiple times throughout the week which was annoying but luckily I wasn't on a time schedule. Beautiful hotel.

Loved staying in the cabana building- such a fun atmosphere, you can go down to the pool and enjoy the dj or you can hang on your balcony and enjoy it from there. Pool/Drinks/Atmosphere was awesome, we were attending a concert at the Greek and it was a great location for that.

We enjoyed our visit immensely.. lounging poolside all day Saturday and dining in each of the three restaurants at the hotel during the extent of our stay, all wonderful! Our one main complaint would be the temperature of our room.. (however it was 105 degrees during our visit). the room had trouble staying below 80degrees . I did call the front desk about the temperature and a technician was sent to our room promptly.. there simply was not much they could be done. Otherwise 10/10 had a very enjoyable stay :) great time and great location for going to the Chinese theater for a show!

A lovely hotel, the room was perfect with perfect views of the Hollywood sign, Hollywood Boulevard and downtown L.A. Central location for exactly what we had planned for our vacation. The Tropicana Pool was beautiful to sunbathe and cool off with a swim. All staff were nice and welcoming! Perfect stay!

Lovely room with great city views. Large and clean. There was a water leak we let staff know about, but it wasn’t repaired and the bathroom floors were left wet and extremely slippery on the tile floor. Another down side was the alarm clock was preset and went off at 6am (not fun after a late night out).
