"Stayed here for one night, was really looking forward to the stay as had been reccomend, it was a Sunday and pub was full and noisy with mostly non residents which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others if looking for a quiet stay. The Rooms are very very basic and extremely outdated but clean. Old carpet on floor and musty smell from curtains. There is a really potent air freshener sprayed in rooms and on hotel floor which if you are sensitive to smell like i am could be a problem....

"There’s a nightclub next to the hotel. The music was loud, and we couldn’t sleep. There is no AC or fan in the room, so it got really hot."

"Location and price of the hotel are fantastic for Dublin but does reflect the fact it is above the nightclub. It is VERY noise at 2am when the club closes, but they provide excellent ear plugs that worked great. We couldn’t hear the club from our room, just the noise on the street when it closed. Breakfast was plain, croissants , fruit and good coffee, but since we didn’t expect any breakfast at all we were very happy with it. It is a small and older building, but well maintained and clean....

"Haddington House was a beautiful hotel. Instructions sent ahead of time did not provide instructions for parking or a code to get into the parking. Once located, lots of space for parking on property. Location was chosen with plans to use the DART-(convenient location to train stations) to visit downtown Dublin however, it was not running. Bus transportation worked well after we located a Leap Card from a local convenient store and Bus 7 to Dublin City centre. Location was right on the baths...

"The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)"

"This hotel is fine. The rooms are spacious. The free breakfast is quite grand and the food is decent, my only complaint would be the coffee, it was really watery. This is a no-frills stay that is fine for travelers, and the rates are reasonable."

"The hotel is off the busy Stillorgan Road but good bus services close by and an airport bus not far away at St Helen’s Hotel about a ten minute walk - if you do not have too much luggage to carry. My room was quiet at the back of the hotel. The room and bathroom require refurbishment. Shower over bath. Good food menu in bar/restaurant; quality varied but generally good. "We had a good stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the shower was very comfortable. Unfortunately the pans in the kitchen were very damaged, so we opted not to use them. A shame since we booked an apartment to be able to cook. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t a very big issue."
