"This was a special stay, not for the quality of the accommodation but because of it's location and history.
Room was fairly basic but a view to die for, just spectacular.
Mt St Michel is magnificent, at night it becomes magical. The abbey lit up at night was amazing.
La mere Poulard was ok, friendly reception and good sized, old fashioned room with important fridge, bottled water and fan (essential for the summer).
Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, charcuterie, fresh pastries and breads and...

"Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house.
Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors.
Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing.
I have an EV so perfect for me, arrived with about 40% battery and filled up...
"Lovely hotel just on outskirts of town. About 2 mins walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants.
Lovely friendly staff on desk to check in. Room was perfect for one person. All clean and modern. Even allowed me to park my motorbike in courtyard.
Recommended stay in bayeux.

The only problem for me was the lighting in our room was so dim it was hard to do my face. We will definitely be back if possible!"

L’emplacement est parfait : à seulement 10–15 minutes à pied du Vieux Bassin, tout en disposant d’un parking privé très pratique si vous êtes en voiture. Les chambres sont propres, confortables, et bien qu’un peu compactes, elles conviendront parfaitement pour un séjour de détente....
"Bayeux is a cute little town. This hotel is a little out of the way, but just a short walk into town or to the train station (less than 15 minutes). The rooms are small, but that's typical for Europe. "
"Villa Lara was exceptional in all categories above!! If you are spending time in Normandy or Bayeaux, hands down this is the only place to stay. Don’t even consider another hotel. "Staying on Mont st Michel was a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in while small, was still charming and offered a fantastic view over the ramparts. Do note, the entire building is tiny, with tight staircases and no possibility of an elevator getting installed. Par for the course for anything many centuries old."
