"We arrived early before the check in time but were made to feel welcome, parking was difficult to find but once we were told where to go all was OK and there was ample parking. The room was comfortable and there was everything that you could possible need, even slippers and a dressing gown! Breakfast was well cooked and ample and the hosts were very friendly, We liked having the toaster on the table, never seen this before and we have stayed in lots of places over the years. We would highly...

"Alles bestens"

"Location was ideal for us and pricing within reason. We just spent one night before going on to Ely for a wedding."

"This is a family owned business. The owner was very helpful, caring, and pleasant. He told us he wanted us to feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and filling. I wouldn't hesitate to return."

"Convenient proximity to the Office and the Station. Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped room."

"Location was great. Room was simple and functional. Lots of cold breakfast choices."

"Really enjoyed stay so close to the river and town excellent position."

"Last minute booking and staff was very helpful and friendly. Asked if we can leave our car after check out the next day as would like to explore the city and they actually allow us to do so which is unusual normally after checking out. Breakfast was nice apart from toast wasn’t warm enough but overall good experience. Room was clean and beyond my expectations in terms of what they provided. Good value and good location."

After we booked the hotel assuming they had allowed cats we tried to cancel our reservation, but they refused to let us do that and made us pay for the four days that we had booked regardless. There was no reason that they couldn’t refund our money. I understand that they said it was a non-refundable price but I think they could have made an...

"We love this hotel, it’s really world class. Beautifully decorated, amazing staff, we are always so well looked after. The location is fantastic and our room had a lovely view over Parker’s Piece."

"For someone who doesn't cope well with noise from others, this isn't a place for you. Some male voices talking in communal area were heard multiple times throughout the night. I won't risk staying at another hostel unless there's absolutely no other choice. The shower room could use more than one hook for people to hang clothes and a towel. It's not possible to hang all items on one single hook."
