Perth was within easy walking distance. The lounge with the wood burning fire in the evening was cozy and a great environment to enjoy a wee dram. Great breakfast."

"Room was clean, comfortable bed, but building was in a poor condition with stains on bathroom ceiling and water damage round windows. Arrived late and there was no information in the room about breakfast times (or anything else). "

I don’t understand how a big hotel chain can justify this as a 4 star? The place was dirty, the furniture tired and you could see paint coming off. Let’s not try and pass it as a character property. It needs investment and serious refurbishment as it’s currently a very old and not looked after b&b than a 4 star boutique. "
