So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical.
Definitely worth an annual visit
It’s a lovely hotel and a very peaceful place to stay in a beautiful setting.
The room was so nice with a beautiful view of the gardens from it, and the bed was very comfortable as well.
We used the sauna and in door pool which was nice and relaxing.
We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this lovely hotel. It’s full of character and charm too :)
We enjoyed our relaxing break away from home very much.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Staying at the Passford Hotel is a bit like travelling back in time. The hotel has been around for a bit has a comfy ‘lived in’ vibe. Old fashioned even. Having said that the staff are some of the nicest and most professional we’ve met.
The room was pleasant enough. Could have done with an update to be honest. Unfortunately, the pillows on the bed were hard enough to affect my sleep on our first night but were replaced. The toilet blocked but was fixed quickly.
Passford Hotel is a lovely place to stay, right in the heart of the New Forest. Is just a bit past its prime but worth a stay all the same.
We had a one night family birthday treat for my husband. 2 teenagers and a dog were perfectly catered for. We had 2 adjoining rooms on the ground floor with private access outdoors. The hotel had really thought about our accommodation. The food was excellent and they made every effort to help our birthday celebrations. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the grounds were heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Rude check out
bed was comfortable ,room space was good , shower no hot water even after running for some time !
on checking out the reception lady wasn't interested ,she offered to look at it , we where checking out ! her attuited was very poor ! didn't even offer any compensation , just said its an old building and the water takes time ,never knew that on check in ! shame this person spoil the hotel experience ,as all other staff where really good . food is priced very high ! very sad when you spent over £500 for one night ,still she knows best
The room was clean, pleasant and windows you could open! The beds were very comfy.
We enjoyed our small evening snack, breakfast and lunch dishes.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
I enjoyed the pool and sauna. They don't have a jacuzzi but a refreshing jacuzzi type cool pool to use after the sauna.
We loved the calm and Monet-esque gardens and look forward to our next visit when the outdoor pool and flowers are out.

Liked: Amenities
Traditional hotel , ideal for family’s of all ages
The hotel and the grounds were stunning. Every single member of staff (I talk to everyone) was wonderful; so helpful and friendly. The outdoor heated pool was delightful. No air con or fan in the room wasn’t great but the windows did open wide so that helped, although we were on the ground floor and by the road so cars going past was a bit noisy. Noise from the rooms upstairs was a lot. But, overall, our stay was really lovely and I’d definitely stay again.
The gym and sauna were quiet poor. The rooms were nice but small. The bathroom was good but almost as big as the bedroom.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Adjoining rooms were well appointed. Hotel overall was very upscale with lots of amenities--pool, lounge, bar. Enjoyed hearing/seeing horses in neighbouring field. About10 minute drive to Lymington and Isle of Wight ferry.
