"Good location, spacious room with good bathroom. My night was very quiet, since the room faced a road with little traffic or pedestrians. I was slightly inconvenienced by a street light directly outside window."

"Hotel is in an excellent location.It is surrounded by restaurants and cafes and it is within an easy 5 min walk of the hippodrome theatre. A decent size secure carpark is across a small, quiet road from the hotel. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was good- plenty of choice and easy to find a table. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It is a large hotel but only has 2 lifts which state they hold 8 but were full with 5 in. It was a very busy weekend as the Bristol half marathon was on the Sunday but only one of the lifts were working so there were always long waits for the lift. We were on the 3rd floor and due to the hotel’s location could hear music and people until after midnight. The noise wasn’t particularly loud but I could see some guests having an issue with it. "

Many thanks to Kyle and the guesthouse team. A lovely location in the centre of city activities and yet a very quiet place to stay. "

"During a 5 night stay twice the cleaning team overlooked cleaning our room. Parking arrangement very good. Overall the cooked breakfast was not hot. The quantity of pre/cooked eggs was excessive for the speed that they were required, and looked unappealing. Perhaps the hotel could consider cooking the eggs to order"
