"Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. The staff all of them, were so friendly and helpful from the front staff to the night guards. Camp on a river, so you see the animals come for water, open view to see them roaming across the river! "PROS: Good property. Great Cabins, 5-star on-site staff service goes above. Simon was great, he went running with me twice on the Serengeti/Mara savanna. Josphat, the local manager, was very responsive to organizing tours, and every request I had. Game rides with James and excursions were personal, flexible, and knowledgeable.
