The condition of the room was basic with chipped furniture and scuff marks.Wifi was non existant - not very good if you wish to use laptop for business purposes.Needed a freshen up decor wise in room. The beds were comfy and we did have a good nights sleep.Mecure needs to probably focus on more the cosmetic decor,as they have competition nearby. Reception staff at checkout were lovely.

The location is amazing, few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Parking was easy - just after the NCP entrance and pay by ring go, same level as the hotel so then walk straight into the hotel.

Hi stayed at this hotel for Manchester pride it was 10 out 10 the staff so friendly especially the staff in the restaurant at breakfast time so chatty and polite I am going to stay there next year for pride to no excessive noise

We have stayed at the Mercure before and it is in a great location for shopping/transport etc. They still supply a great breakfast with a large choice and nothing is too much trouble. I do have a couple of small niggles our room was not serviced though out our stay and had to ask for tea coffee etc all the time. I mentioned within two hours of our arrival that our safe was locked. The staff came to unlock it on the third night of our stay. One thing that is really anoying is the service charge at the bar. I ordered at the bar and had to pay an additional 57 pence for the privilege of having it brought to me!!! Please get rid of this penny pinching charge or just put it on the price of a pint.

Clean and quiet room on a high floor, I did have to complain to my neighbouring room as they woke us twice during the night being very loud slamming doors and on the telephone. But otherwise there was quiet. The lady at the front desk was able to check us in early which was super helpful!

Lovely room, clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff, close to tram to get to Co-op Live and less than 10 mins walk from Manchester Picadilly. Noisy from outside until 2am and tgen afain from 6am but city centre location so cant be avoided.
