"Disappointed that I booked a double room for an anniversary long weekend and was only given a twin option. Very frustrating. Overall hotel nice and good location but staff could have done more to correct the room allocation error. "

"A nice place to stay, overall. The rooftop space is very nice, though the pools could have been warmer. We found the laundry facilities helpful, but wish we could have used more than one machine at once. We had some trouble with the water in our room - the shower temps were cool to warm, and the faucet temps were warm to scalding. The facility is well maintained though; very clean and the staff are helpful and always available."

"The Hoxton is ideally located in Barcelona. It is close to shopping, the beach and many other activities. The staff is congenial and helpful and speaks English. Well they made my time they’re very comfortable."

"The checkin process was straightforward and we were allowed to leave bags before checkin time. However, the staff didn't provide any information on what's included, what facilities like pool are available and when to access them or what attraction is nearby. For example 2 bottles of water were included, but we weren't informed that minibar was included in the room price. There was a huge festival going on in front of the hotel, we saw it once we reached our room. The staff didn't mention it when we specifically asked about nearby attractions. Bathroom had no fittings at all to hang towels and/ or clothes. Location is a bit outside the city centre also more than an hour away from airport using public transport so something to consider when making travel plans. The ac kept resetting temperature for some reason all night, so room tended to be warmer than preferred. Other than that the hotel is clean, looks well maintained, has great mattresses. "

"Lovely breakfast. Room (junior suite) was amazing - though slight issues with shower screen leaking causing the bathroom floor to get very wet. Good location, lovely staff. Overall can’t fault it "
