"I stayed five days in January, enjoy a slower pace in the off season. The Brix is beautifully and centrally located. Bring binoculars for exotic bird watching. Five minutes walk to the Savannah and fairly walkable distance to art, entertainment, food and culture. I must attend an event at the Queens Hall, across the street, next time! —I want to join the party."

Great location because we wanted to go to Maracus beach a few times before heading back to Los Angejes….the rooms were extremely clean and we will be back to stay at the hotel….Thank you to the staff for a wonderful trip"

"Oh.. this stay is close to any whimsical experience or urge you may want or have. There are tours available as well throughout the island.. Management is available at all times.. They're very much into security..big plus. My only sadness with there, is the biggest season: carnival.. there is no room for me.."

"When I arrived, the hotel did not have my reservation from Expedia. I was still able to get a room. The water pressure for the shower was extremely low. No wash clothes. Staff was very friendly and great customer service. "

"Pros: The staff is friendly, if you drive or have transportation, this is about 10mins away from the avenue and downtown areas. There's a pool, it looks nice (I didn't get in as it was not an interest). Bedding and room was clean. Everything looked like the pics. Area is quiet and residenial. Cons: Area may be unsafe (but that's Trinidad). Nothing happened while I was there but don't go walking around and jogging past 5PM, that goes for the entire country. "

"I needed a safe affordable and enjoyable place to stay for my overnight layover in Port of Spain. The airport ride was quick and easy to arrange and they were thoughtful enough to recommend grabbing some food at the airport while i waited which was perfect. "We could not have had a better place to stay since we were trying to be close to family but did not know what to expect. Our suite was very clean, but could have used a few things like towel racks, some place to hang clothes in the bathroom while showering, paper towels, and wash clothes. The food was excellent for breakfast. The pool was so awesome with a charming atmosphere. But the staff was the best part. So caring and helpful. Shernette, Russell and Doris over and above our expectation....
