"Parking was very limited so it was a gamble to find parking. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very yummy. The room was very clean, however it was showing wear and tear, the lights coming from the walls next to the beds, both looked like they had been hit and moved, one was coming out of the wall. Of the small bed lights only one worked. The bunk beds only have foam mattresses rather than real mattresses - grumpy kids equals bad day."

"The hotel was selected for ease of transit from terminal 5 in the late afternoon, to rest overnight then depart on an early morning flight from terminal 3. The walk from terminal 5 to 3 was very long and hardly signposted, so difficult to find and tiring after a long day of travel. The check in was alright but not so welcoming. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable with crisp cotton linens, so a nice room for one night’s rest but on a low floor with a large wall outside the window. And after the hotel ads promote runway views and great location, we experienced neither. We had a very late dinner in the restaurant, (soup, fish & chips and a caesar salad) which was on a low floor, so had no view whatsoever. The food was quite good and the service, although a little slow was friendly and efficient. Would we stay there again? Perhaps, but we’ve had much better experiences at the ring road hotels, which will likely be our choice next time. Getting to the hotel would be the reason why we’d stay elsewhere, not the hotel itself."

"Lovely staff and convenient location for the airport. I understand this was a budget hotel but was disappointed with the lack of amenities in the room. No tea or coffee, no hairdryer (but I was able to borrow one from the front desk) and only a generic hair/hand/body wash in the bathroom. Great breakfast"

"Fabulous hotel for plane spotters. Great view of runway. Comfy beds. Very quiet rooms. Staff so lovely. Been 5 times now, love this hotel. The bar & restaurant are very expensive so we use the local pub (Pheasant Inn) which is AMAZING or McDonalds across the road. Parking £15 a night which sounds bad but for the area that is good value! Also useful for Thorpe Park. Definitely visiting again in the Summer. Love this hotel!"
