The hotel was not very clean overall. The beds are old and uncomfortable, leaving us in pain. When checking the mattress for bugs (no, I didn't find any), I was disappointed with how stained the mattresses were. The sofa in the room was filthy, as was the elevator (see photos). The River Inn
Nice little property in the heart of Fogey Bottom. Easy to walk to plenty of nice restaurants and Georgetown. Very friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend. Excellent price and value.

Global Luxury Suites at Capitol Hill
The automatic locks *required* me to download an app, despite what the check-in email said. Also, parking is a complete ripoff. Should be illegal how much they charge... The property manager was incredibly sweet and helpful though. Good location too
