"Breakfast was amazing! Very crowded with folks in for The Boston Marathon. In spite of crowds, food fresh and plentiful. We had an amazing large suite which was soooo nice after spending 6 hours driving from Philly, then watching the Red Sox play and then visiting the Cheers bar! Wonderful night, comfortable bed, professional and friendly front desk staff. We will definitely be back!"
"The desk staff seemed cold and off putting at check in. My room was off the lobby on the first floor and kids were paying soccer in the hallway. At the gym, more underage kids were playing on the equipment and a man with a full glass of beer got on the treadmill next to me. The INDOOR pool was full of kids, and moms were drinking from glasses poolside. Manager and lifeguard had a conversation about unruly kids and rude parents. Parents shouldn’t drink while kids are swimming. That seemed dangerous in a darkened space. Mgt seemed not able to control public spaces. Room was clean and well appointed. I would not return on a weekend due to the number of sports kids and drunk parents."
"Property is fine. Parking is ok but $20 a day. Staff not helpful, rude and don’t seem to know the job at all. Was treated so horribly from manager at front desk it is enough to never stay here again. They repeatedly charged our card multiple times multiple amounts without authorization. Then loudly stated in front of many other guests we owed money and our card declined. It in fact had not and they had charged everything to the card without issue. They also charged over $400 to another card which still has not refunded back. They charge $20 a day per room of $20 as an occupancy fee. The manager was rude and disrespectful and has no clue how to provide proper customer service. Sighing loudly, making faces, condescending and flat out rude. The Starbucks refused cash and said we had to charge to the room…that’s not true. The room had no toilet paper and we had to track down a room attendant. All and all we would stay at the 20 other hotels in the area before returning here. Not acceptable treatment or service at all. Over all not a great experience."
"We were there on a busy weekend and unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening. The free breakfast was good, but the staff could not keep up on replacement of food items, napkins, plates, cups, etc. The workout room was large and had good equipment, but the equipment could use some cleaning. Be aware that the handicapped room has a smaller sized bed (double). The room was clean however it smelled like a combination of pot and dirty gym socks."
"Hotel was a mixed bag. It is located literally on top of the highway. Not a relaxing view. The room sadly had dirty windows, dirty toilet (!), but the rest seemed clean enough. There was one 3" tall drawer, a wardrobe to hang items, and two shelves. Made it impossible to unpack.
The staff was friendly and courteous, but it all seemed quite disorganized. When we arrived, the key card system was down, so the staff was processing customers partially while waiting for the system to come up. Had to wait 15 minutes for resolution. While settling into our room, someone knocked on our door. A staff member opened the door during the 20 seconds it took me to reach it. The staff member was very apologetic, but it didn't inspire a lot of confidence about privacy.
While parking is an extra $20 a day, the garage was very easy to manage coming and going mutliple times a day. All-in-all, it was fine, but we'll find another place to stay around Boston."
