"We have been coming here for 15 years. They really need to update the workout room, the machines are old and not working. The bathroom showers still need grout cleaning and I told the front desk. Paid $370 for waterfront room for one night. They do allow you to go on the lake early upon arrival while you wait for the room. The kids love stopping here before we spend the week in saranac. "There were some pros and cons. The construction was a huge disappointment. In the addition of having to drive and walk though the construction areas (mud and maybe nails), we also had to hear the noise in the evening and early morning. We should’ve been notified or at least offered a discount because of the inconvenience. The private beach was nice, but there were no towels because they ran out. "The room was clean and very spacious for our anniversary trip. We were greeted warmly at the front desk with champagne and given a map and information. The food was great and was comparable in price and quality to all other local restaurants. The location was great with access to Mirror Pond right across the street.
