"Giovanni was an excellent host and very helpful. The video sent to us prior to arrival showing how to find our room was so good and precise. Our room was clean and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. The private terrace and breakfast provided was plentiful and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this property, very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the busy streets of Matera. Many happy memories made. Thank you. "

"We had a great stay, all the staff were very polite and attentive, answered all our questions about the area and also very informative about the food and wines they were serving, we were very pleasantly with the service the location and the condition of the hotel, unfortunately we were not there long enough to sample the spa but did get a tour from the young lady at the spas reception who explained everything. A wonderful experience cant fault it."

"Right in the heart of the historical city of Matera you will find Cavoso Hotel. We stayed in one of the cave rooms which was much more airy and larger than I expected. The room had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The hotel gives you a choice of breakfast in your room or the dining area. We tried both and enjoyed the variety. "Wir haben uns noch nie so wohl gefühlt in einem Hotel. Wir haben uns jeden Abend auf das Zimmer gefreut. Sehr bequeme Betten, moderner Fernseher für Netflix, leise und gute Klimaanlage, eigener Kühlschrank und ein Bad mit Regendusche und zwei Waschbecken. Das Zimmer alleine ist so stilvoll eingerichtet, dass es ein richtiger Hingucker war. Aber dann geht man nach draußen und die Poollandschaft ist noch schöner! Man hat nie Probleme eine liege zu finden, der Pool ist immer sauber und man hat auch...
