"We stayed for our 34th anniversary 2 days ago and found Lisa and her mother lovely, accommodating, and pleasant. Lisa had come from Colorado and had only been the owner about 2 months but one would never know that. It was perfect! They even allowed our Colorado daughter ( who was attending her 25th u of va reunion) to have brunch with us the morning we left. Hot tub, jacuzzi, beautiful room, friendly and helpful owner…. What was there not to like? Ty, Lisa! We shall be back!"

"The assistant manager that we talked to a couple of times (and checked us in) was very helpful in offering suggestions on activities/dining. The room was spacious and a good value. Everything was clean. The afternoon tea and cookies was nice. They have a large pool available; however, the advertising stated it was heated, but it felt pretty cold. Overall, good value and would stay again!"

"The stay was very average. Positives is it is a beautiful complex with trails and access to the sports complex. Negatives are that they ran out of towels for one of the days at both the pool and in our room, spider webs on the balcony railings and chairs, found items in our room that were not ours and left from prior stays, and the pool was very underwhelming (no towels, pool bar closed, and not nearly enough chairs)."

"We checked in and tried showering only to have water as cold as ice, door lock didn’t work. Called front desk his response was change rooms. We were already unpacked and he didn't seem to care, he said no one was there to fix anything. Moved rooms to take a shower in room number 2 and the bathroom bath mat was dirty, we used a towel cus the bath mat was that dirty, the shower wall had black curly hair stuck to it. Called front desk three times, no answer. Went to front desk no one there. ...

"The hotel is only 2 months old and is spotless! Great rooms and the public spaces are incredible. Soaring ceilings and great meeting spaces. There's large windowed room near the elevator on each floor that's a great place to work or start your day in quiet if you're an early riser like me. Great property and lots of passion in their service. It's only 10 to 15 minutes walking to anywhere on campus. A must stay in Charlottesville."

"My stay was good overall. The shower was a little dingy and could use a good scrub or replacement and the towels smelled musty. But the continental breakfast was great, the staff friendly, and the bed comfy. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"Low drama, exactly what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. Fanciest place in the world? Not at all. But it's spotlessly clean, the beds are big and comfy, the rooms are properly AC-equipped, and everyone is friendly. Even the coffee wasn't too bad."

"The room was very warm, cooled by a small air conditioner, which took hours to bring the room down to a good sleeping temperature. The comforter was quite heavy which added to this problem. Evening staff were excellent. Airport shuttle driver was wonderful. Morning front desk staff were rude."
