"Room was booked with a higher rate for an ocean view. We arrived early and the very friendly staff put us immediately into a room with ocean "glimpse". We pointed out the error, they were very responsive and put us into another room with "half" an ocean view. Whether this was because we were at the hotel before check-in time and they were aiming to please or whether it was because they had no full ocean view room is beyond me as the language was prohibitive. "The people who work here are beyond amazing. Very courteous, thoughtful, helpful individuals. The food was top notch. Oddly, I miss their version of chimichangas! If you look at google maps, there’s a shortcut down the hill to the beach. I walked it every day. Honestly, I walked to the yellow bridge and to Ceningan as well. The dogs barking at night was my only complaint. Everything else was perfect! Thank you for having us!"
