"Breakfast was the best ever. There was everything"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Bailey’s Hotel in Kensington. It is well located to all, only a few steps from the Tube, and has many choices of dining. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The room was spacious, light, and the bathroom had a window for light and ventilation. Bedding was comfortable with high end cotton sheets. Fresh thick cotton towels every day. You can mage your own coffee in the morning and the room had a fridge. The room also has a safe, iron and hair dryer. Over all a very good experience, I highly recommend and will return if I visit London again."

"It's a well located hotel, the room was an okay price. It was a 10 min walk through a lot of winding corridors and lifts to find the room. Not ideal if you have bags. Also, the shower/bath flooded the bathroom each time I used it. The bed was okay though. Better that I was expecting from a single bed."

"Room had a bit of a weird smell that we were not able to localize. We left the window open during our entire stay, which didn't help much. Shower had hot water, just at very low pressure. Both adults felt the beds were too firm, however, the kids did not complain. Nice touch with a fridge in the room and usb charging ports on the power outlet. Our experience confirmed that you stay here for the location, not for the standard of the facilities."

"The location of this hotel is great, but unfortunately, everything else was a huge disappointment. Our room had no windows, felt dark and claustrophobic, and had almost no space to store or hang clothes. Basic amenities were inconvenient, like having to go to another floor just to iron. Housekeeping was also terrible—our room was never cleaned, the bed was never made, and towels were never replaced during our stay. They also charge £15 per bag for luggage storage, which felt excessive. The absolute worst part was finding a bed bug crawling on our bed sheets the morning we were leaving. I had been waking up with painful, itchy bites on my legs and thought they were mosquito bites, but seeing the bed bug confirmed otherwise. It was disgusting and disturbing to realize I had spent two nights sleeping in those conditions. I ended up needing medical attention after returning home because of how severe the bites became. Staff seemed unfazed when I reported it, which was honestly shocking. Between the poor service, hidden fees, and serious bed bug issue, I would never stay here again."

"The check-in was paifully slow, not enough agents, and the ones there appeared to be taking excessive amount of time checking customers in."

"I found the hotel to be in an excellent location i.e. walkable to many attractions. Transportation and eating options are also close by. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The only negative worth mentioning would be the security staff. When returning to the hotel in the early evening, security staff members are inside the doors where they are unfriendly and look at you as something other than valued guests. They alone will cause me to pause before selecting this hotel on a return visit to London."
