"This is by far one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. The exterior and lobby area were good, but once we got to our floor, things got bad. The carpet in the hallway was peeling up in multiple areas, looked like it had been pieced together from several remnants, and had stains throughout the entire length of the hallway. "wonderful historic building! rooms on the 1st.floor were small on American scale, more french/paris.size but the bathrooms were good sized. the "restaurant" was only serving breakfast and was SUPER SUPER slow. bar was good, great bartenders. food choices.were limited but served relatively quickly.and.super good. there are tons of restaurants on Emerson St. wi walking distance. red hot does a good standard breakfast all.day."

"Comfortable and quiet. Safe. However basic and outdated for price and brand. Carpet in room caused allergies to trigger for our family. The room constantly felt humid and damp with AC on. Definitely overdue for a remodel. Breakfast was just ok. Seems like the attendant would have been more prepared for guests, but ran out of coffee, ran out of hash browns, never did see any butter for breads… etc."

"Location is close to the highway, shopping and restaurants. Warm, saltwater pool is fabulous. Breakfast buffet has a nice variety and is clean and tasty. This was my 4th stay at La Quinta."
