"Property had exposed knob and tube, which is a fire hazard for this kind of structure. Due to the age of the inn, there is no insulation. Rooms must be heated with space heaters which further increases the risk of fire. The accumulation of dust and various other contaminants triggered allergic reactions to several members of my family. On a positive note, food was very authentic and delicious. The comments and reviews need to reflect the condition of this inn."

"Loved this hotel. We had a suite with a private onsen which was perfect and we also used the communal and roof top onsens which were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic. Would definately return."

"Our stay at Aburaya Tousen was a memorable experience. We arrived quite late but had no trouble finding the place. There are a few free parking lots around, which made things easy. Service stood out right from the start.. a staff member came out to greet us and helped carry our luggage from the gravel parking area. Check in was done while we were seated in a nice, modern lounge, with snacks and tea served. It felt very welcoming and thoughtful. We went for a more traditional Japanese style...

"I felt right at home. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. The onsen is beautiful. You have a private onsen too. In the property has koi and sakura tree to look at while playing Go. Very zen. Their breakfast and dinner option are so great. So delicious traditional japanese dinner keiseki. I miss this place already!"
