"We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again."

"We arrived after 10pm the hotel were very helpful in leaving us a message on where to collect our room key from, the room was big and clean, bathroom was good too, we had an enjoyable breakfast too, very friendly & helpful staff."

"We booked the Dinney B&B due to its close proximity to the Astbury Golf Resort, where we were attending a wedding reception. We visited the Dinney early, to work out the logistics and chanced to meet Keith the owner. He allowed us to drop our bags in our room, gave us our keys and assured us that we could leave our car at the Astbury, walk back and he'd sort a lift back the next day - now that's excellent customer service! The room was comfortable and clean, with a good ensuite shower room....

"Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend .."

"Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !"

"Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling which had been painted over but still showed...

"Had a 2 night stay at this property, very happy with our visit, couldn't really fault it to be fair, as we didn't really spend a lot of time there apart from our first night. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy, the staff were very helpful and cheerful, had breakfast on both mornings, opted for the classic breakfast, which was ample, the bar was well stocked and plenty staff serving. If I was to be picky, it is very minor points, I requested a twin room, but had a room for disabled...

"The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy."

"Terrible experience on both Expedia and the hotel. I booked a room, did the pre-checking online after expedia sends me a messague. When I go to the hotel around 6.30 p.m. the guy at reception casually tells me that they cannot accommodate me because they had an issue with my room. That's it. On top of that; the person at reception tells me as if it helps that they contacted Expedia at 5p.m. which then when I called Expedia hours later after doing my own arrangements was not True. Horrible...

"Dog friendly, helpful staff great for an overnight break on a long journey ( both ways!) Easy access from the M6 making a break from motorway driving. Penkridge is a really interesting place to stay and take a break on a long journey. Very welcoming villager and quiet away from the main road. However the pub is a little noisy at night ( we stayed on a hot summers night!)"
