"Loved that my room was in the main house. My room was small but it faced the garden where I could watch birds and squirls. Missed the hedgehogs. My bathroom was a few steps away from the room and it was good. The shower was pretty small. I got in but could not move around so I decided to wash off in sinks. The staff were wonderful to me. The manager told me more about the Manor House and it's age. At one time my family lived there so it was exciting to be able to stay. Breakfast was...

"Good location. Difficult to get to our room as the place is a bit of a maze to arrive to our room, with steep, narrow stairways. Fairly small room also. "

"i was under the impression that the property was an old style pub with rooms, when i booked. But it turns out just to be a bed and breakfast. The room was lovely and had everything you need, plus more, like a trouser press, a bottle of filtered water with the coffee and tea facilities, a microwave in the shared lobby and plenty of parking and nice outside space to spend in the sunshine/evening"

"Just a couple of minutes away from the train station and very close to the city centre. Very friendly staff who were more than helpful to give you suggestions for seeing things in Oxford outside the obvious ones. A bit old and basic but perfect for a couple of days in Oxford. Some noise outside as there's work at the road to the train station, but that's obviously not the hotel's fault."
