"I travel to Oamaru a lot and somehow only just found Poshtel on Expedia. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in here. The room was spotless, comfortable and full of character, quirky vintage and steampunk touches that actually feel like Oamaru. Everything was clean, well thought out and a real step up from the usual places I stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and made check-in easy. Breakfast was excellent too, proper continental spread with fresh fruit, pastries and local Whitestone cheese....

"Wonderful Makarora Lodge - how can it be called wonderful? Do not stay here! Arrived April 27, 2028 approx 5:30 pm for a one night stay. Staff gone, picked up the two folded papers w/keys from reception area showing # of two chalets. Nothing has been done to the inside of the chalets for many many years. Mold on wood in room as you open the door on the right bottom wall. Very dirty stained carpet inside entrance, Only 1/8 - 1/4 inch of the roll of toilet paper in bathroom. Soap dispenser in...

"Access to your account with the booking company is needed to read messages sent by the host. I didn't find this useful. The kia studio is quiet, comfortable, quality and clean. Cooking (apart from toaster & microwave) was at the outdoor (covered) barbecue. A cleaning cloth for the stainless surfaces would be welcome."
