this used to be a property with several small cottages located on a lakefront that could be rented for vacation stays... facebook page associated with the property indicates it was purchased by new owners in July 2016 and is not currently being run as such... what a shame it was a great spot for a getaway
Gator Joes (a restaurant) sits on a lake, and has an extended porch out over the water where you can sit and eat. Not to mention a volley ball net on the sand, and swimming is permitted!

Had cold water the first night but that was fixed the second night. The trans person receptionist was very dismissive when I told them about the water issue. Overall it was a good stay. Unfortunately, the bedding and couch had dog and/or cat hair all over it; which made for a bad time for my daughter whom is allergic to both. Thankfully I bring my own sheets. Fridge was not cleaned behind the handles, so I was grabbing onto sticky dried up food.
