"The staff were lovely especially the young man who checked us in and explained everything we needed. The food was fantastic we ate at the pub that night and stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic ."

"Loved old inn. Staff went over and above to be helpful,dog even had sausage gor breakfast. I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!"

They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. "This is a no frills hotel but it’s all you need for a night or two stay, it’s clean, beds comfortable, shower was lovely and they put towels and a soap n shower gel new with your towel set. We never used the towels as I always like to bring my own from home. Kettle and coffee n milk jiggers and two cups and there was a full size fridge in the room and a tv on wall. Location is fantastic, as said all you need is a clean place to sleep and shower. Over all a good stay for the night as was going to...

"Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !"

"The property is very comfortable and in a quiet location with shops no too far of…Has all the amenities you can think of,you literally can go to this place empty handed and still be comfy,you need to get yourself and toothbrush and toothpaste in the nearby shops though 😂but over it’s an excellent place and for sure I will return"

"Staff were lovely & very helpful but the hotel itself is in very poor condition & quite dirty. The beds are awful & can feel every spring and the bed frame through gaps, shower curtain mouldy & no shower gel or toilet paper in the room, mugs dirty & the carpets were not clean. Again can't fault the staff, kind and welcoming."

"Quite old establishment. Unlucky day for me the Floors/carpet were not vacuumed that day, i could see and smell it. To make it worse the clean new linen was placed on those dirty floors by the cleaning staff who change out the linen - make beds in the morning. Explains the hairs i found on my freshly made bed."

"Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend .."
