"Disappointing breakfast . No eggs ! so settled for bacon sandwich Bathroom didn't have a razor point so unable to charge electric toothbrush. Asked reception if they had a plug adapter but they didn't"

"The accommodation was easy to find & parking no problem. Hospitable host. It was perfect for us - we just stayed 1 night. Clean. Good kitchenette. Plenty of windows that open easily, so nice & light & airy. Bed comfortable. Shower not very powerful, but sufficient. Heaters in lounge & bedroom if needed. Breakfast & fruit juice brought to your door & very tasty. Would recommend & return. "

"Room clean and set up as asked, room had a couple of issues (identified to staff who were helpful) location excellent for access to A14, surrounding location noisy and smelly as next to service area. Room warm so needed windows open which wasn’t that pleasant. "Staff very welcoming explained everything at check in .the room was perfect everything exceptionally clean and fresh towels and bedding pristinely white and good quality . Easy to find and not far from Cambridge . The breakfast was good a choice for everybody’s palate . Would stay again if we were visiting the area again ."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

"For the price paid it was decent enough and functional room for an overnight stay during work trip. Obviously the hotel could do with a bit of renovation and sprucing up. But they made up for it with the lovely staff. Definitely recommend for short stays, their Chai is first class!!"
