"We broke down on the way to this location and the property staff would not even work with us on a refund and or even a credit for a booking in the future. I was able to provide proof of a required tow we needed to have and they didnt seem to care."
"This hotel was one of the most disgusting places I have stayed. I saw that it wasn't much more to upgrade to a king bed and a large tub. Upgraded, get to the room and the tub/shower is so disgusting I literally chose not to shower over stepping into that shower. Overall, the room was disgusting. Go to lock the door and pull my hand away with gum or something on it, the hair dryer has been ripped off the wall, the walls were scratched up insane, the thermostat didn't control the unit on the wall correctly. Overall, horrible experience. Told the front desk about the hair dryer so that I wouldn't get charged for it being missing and his response was literally "Yeah yeah yeah..." I never waste my time writing reviews, but this experience was so insanely bad that I couldn't help but say something."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fairview Heights, IL
6/10 Okay
"The pool has been down since 3-12-26 per health department. We went down early to be able to enjoy the pool for a couple days before the softball tournament. Reason why we booked there along with others from the team was for the pool. Yes, we were told we could go to best western and swim, but with a softball tournament in town, and combing two hotels into one pool, isn’t ideal either. Knowing the pool has been down so long, I feel like they should have a notice online when you book that it’s down. Or call and leave a message with the guests. Breakfast was decent , minimal seating and signs saying you cannot take anything to your room to eat in your room. Overall it was an okay stay but the lack of communication about the pool is unacceptable."
"My cousins and I were in town to see the Chicago Cubs play the St Louis Cardinals. This Hampton Inn & Suites was the perfect place to stay for the night. It is about a 20-minute Uber ride to the park but worked really well for us. It was very clean. The room was clean. The lobby was clean. The breakfast in the morning was very good and quite delicious. The lady who worked at breakfast, I did not catch her name, was so kind and sweet. I always look for clean hotels and this one definitely was great!"
"The comforter had stains. Breakfast was set up with no care given to it. The front guest person was at the desk sleeping both evenings I came in. I mean you get what you pay for."
"This is the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The elevator door had a racial slur on it, the breakfast options were terrible, the entire hotel smelled like weed, are there were ROACHES IN OUR ROOM."
