Great stay

Lovely and clean chalet only a couple of miles from Padstow and a short drive to other amenities highly recommended.

Bedrooms a lot smaller than expected Double bed very small more like a three quarter bed and mattress very hard and uncomfortable both my husband and I are small but didn’t have much room to turn over and woke each other up when we moved and ached all over in the morning Several times we both nearly fell out of the bed The rest of the accommodation was satisfactory and clean

Great Family Getaway in a Comfy Chalet

My family & I stayed in one of the private chalets at Atlantic Bays Holiday Park near Padstow for 7 nights and had an amazing time! There was some initial confusion caused by Hotels.com, but Simon from Holidays Cornwall (who look after the Chalet we stayed in) was super helpful throughout our stay. The Chalet was lovely & clean, it had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The beds, sofa and chairs were all comfortable. We had a tv in the living room and one of the bedrooms. The kitchen has decent size fridge with a small separate freezer, a cooker with 4 hobs and an oven. There were lots of useful things like a thumos flask, a cafetiere, and a sun parasol & windbreaker. It even had a washing machine and clothes horse, which was a pleasant surprise. It was so quite at night and you could see loads of stars in the night sky that we spent most evenings sitting outside stargazing. The facilities on site were also really good: the little shop had loads of useful items like milk, bread, washing powder etc, but it also had local bacon, sausages, and mini tubs of delicious cornish ice cream. There is also a laundry with dryers. The bar/clubhouse was really nice, drink prices were reasonable,and they have a lovely outdoor seating area next to the kids playpark, so the kids can enjoy themselves while you relax in the sun. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend both Atlantic Bays Holiday Park and Holidays Cornwall. We look forward to our next stay!

100% would recommend and be back!

Loved our stay here in August 2018 as a family of 4, the double bedroom bed was really comfy and the single beds too! The whole chalet had everything you would need for your stay including washing up liquid, cloths and toilet roll even tho we brought our own! Which is a lovely touch as there is nothing worse then travelling for hours and forgetting something! The only recommendations we have are The cooker has seen better days and you cant see what the numbers on the display say and couldnt find a manual to work it which ment half way through cooking something the oven went off and we couldnt get it back on for a while. The bathroom smelt a little of wee sometimes which prob cant be helped! There was quite a few spiders on arrival but we soon sorted them. The Hoover head was broken, which we told the owners and they said they would sort. Apart from those few little pointers all in all was a brilliant stay, the weather could of been better yes, however the 'rainy day sheet' and the 100s of leaflets with coupons helped us along the way! This chalet is close to the bar/restaurant, playarea and bins so not very far to walk and a lovely little decking area with bench outside to sit 😀 I would defo stay again and will recommend to family and friends thank you x

family holiday during Covid

We are overall happy with this chalet. It was clean and have enough room for a family holiday. Compared to a static caravan, this is more comfortable. In a Covid time, they managed it very well, good job!
