"This place was what we needed it to be - a great location, clean, a nice amount of space, comfortable bed (although on the firmer side) and the staff were very friendly. It is on a busy road, so can seem noisy (we were so tired at the end of every day, it didn’t really bother us). It was very clean but not super well maintained (rings on the coffee table, small holes on the wall and small missing pieces of baseboard), and the water pressure wasn’t outstanding. None of those things were deal breakers for us, but could be for others!"

"This hotel is excellently located in a modern part of the city, within walking distance to the old town and to the metro. Bus line 7 across the street will easily take you to Chapultepec Castle and to the Anthropology Museum. We felt totally safe walking to the Angel of Independence Monument where people gather in the evenings. Also, this hotel is the pick-up point for most organized tours. Our room was large and totally functional. We took the breakfast option and were pleasantly surprised to find out that it also came with a snack service in the evenings. The food was amazing in both cases, our congratulations to the chef! On our last day, the hotel provided a taxi to the airport at a fixed rate of 400 pesos. We had a wonderful stay in Mexico City and highly recommend this hotel to future travelers."

"I stayed at this hotel for four nights and unfortunately had a consistently uncomfortable experience. On the first night, I noticed a strong urine faeces-like odor in the room. The staff responded promptly and cleaned it, which I appreciated. However, the smell returned every night afterward, suggesting a possible underlying sewage or plumbing issue. The odor also spread into the bedroom area, making it difficult to rest comfortably. I believe it is a sewage issues because the manhole in the street outside the hotel also smelled like that. Additionally, there is a police vehicle stationed outside the hotel at night, and its flashing lights shine directly into the room. This made it even harder to sleep. Another inconvenience is that there is no elevator, so guests have to carry their luggage up multiple flights of stairs, which can be quite challenging. The bathroom setup was also not very functional. The showerhead is positioned extremely close to the wall, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The sink is also very low and awkwardly placed, which made simple tasks like brushing your teeth inconvenient. While I appreciated the staff’s initial effort to address the issue, the ongoing odor, poor sleep conditions, and impractical room layout significantly affected my stay. Blanca was lovely!
