"The room was clean. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was very excellent. The issues….firstly, the first room we were in was next to a room under construction. The banging and drilling and hammering began early and ended late. We were woken up by the noise and disturbed by the noise in the afternoon. We asked just to be moved to a room of the same class as we were in but without noise. The 2nd room was so small we were tripping over each other. It was probably 1/2 the size of the previous one. The bathroom was so tiny that 2 people could not be in it at the same time. The room was clean. The amenities were fine BUT it was definately no where near the value of the other room. We were so tired that we found a way to make ourselves comfortable as we were not moving again! We also want to note…the walls were so thin we heard the water running, the hair dryer blowing, and the conversations of the room next to us. As far as location…you can’t ask for better. As far as staff etc…..they were truly professional. Other than the room, our stay was great."

"Great location near the main train and bus station and key museums Prado, Queen Sofia and Thysenn-B…. Great place, w elevators, 4 bunk with shared br was great - comfortable, clean. Basement has tables, kettle and microwave, (breakfast at attached bistro for 9 euros;) Tuesday night was an open mic type event with 6 musician s and bar. Towels for rent. Definitely a return place."

"The apartment itself is pretty and in a nice and quick area. You have a supermarket very close by and some other places you can go to get food. The instructions and self check-in are very convenient but I tried to contact customer support through their portal and it was impossible. They claimed it not AI responding to your messages but it clearly was. It was such a waste of time. Basically the shower head wasn’t attached to the wall I guess because the bracket or the piece that holds it broke so taking a shower was very difficult trying to hold the shower head with one hand and doing everything else with the other hand. It was annoying. We couldn’t find the clothes iron anywhere and they need to provide with more shampoo and shower gel of better quality and maybe more towels? The washing machine and the hair dryer were amazing. We didn’t use the dishwasher but it’s great to have one just in case you need it. I slept on the sofa bed and it’s not amazingly comfortable but it does the job. I suggest to change the rug in the living room. It does leave some fibers on your socks or your clothes (if you sit on the floor) that feels itchy. Overall the apartment is cool but these recommendations would definitely help to improve the guests stay."
