"Gastropub on site, car park, convenience"

"Booked this last minute for an overnight stay. Check in was very straightforward and property very clean. We arrived quite late after a day out in York, the pub was quite lively and popular on a Saturday night looked like a nice atmosphere. Room very clean and well appointed. Some noise from downstairs such as doors banging and voices but not excessive and once it was closing time was silent. Shower was hot and steady for both us in the morning and the breakfast cooked to order was excellent...

"Can’t criticise anything about our stay at Station Inn. Loved it! Would highly recommend."

"Nice place..a little tricky to find. Service first night good great breakfast...2nd night and breakfast not as professional. Disappointing provision of toiletries....only enough for 1 first night and NONE 2nd night.....just the hand wash!!! Comfortable bed and spacious room with good thoughtful provision of everything else."

"Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!"

"I think the hotel is pretty,i like the rustic feel and furniture of the lounge/restaurant area. However the bedroom and bathroom can do with a modern , colourful, light and airy renovation. The bathroom is outdated ,I think they can update this. The staff can improve by being a bit more welcoming, friendly and warm. Sadly in my room,m was on the ground floor and I was able to hear everything happening upstairs, n on the main corridor,so it was rather hard to sleep. so the place needs thicker...

"Good food and excellent service."

"Comodo parcheggio. Stanza basica. Bagno in corridoio in comune con altre due stanze. Se avete problemi con i rumori tenete conto che la stanza è sopra ad un pub."

"Good location for exploring North Yorkshire , the food in the restaurant was good value for money , I can recommend the mixed grill mezzo for 2, there was a good choice of draft beer in the bar , the room was spacious & clean but requires updating the window didn’t close, the shower rail was loose, the toilet seat did not fit correctly & 1 light fitting failed to operate , the staff were friendly & the inn was good value for money with free parking"
