"Hotel over all was very nice, rooms were big. The only thing I thought needed improvement is the entertainment during the day. Very dull and boring except for the foam party day which I believe is on Saturdays. "

"What a lovely little gem! We have been to many all inclusive hotels here but this place ticks all boxes! The entertainment was amazing, the vibe was excellent. The food was tasty, not exceptional but really good especially for an all inclusive. The drinks were fantastic, be sure to ask for a Pink Gin and Tonic. The rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and comfortable. They have a little mobile library to check out a book and the choice of pools is a great option. We will most definitely come back again. Lovey vibe, great music, wonderful atmosphere for a bit of everything! "

"I was a bit apprehensive after seeing some of the complaints from others about this resort. I am very glad I went ahead and booked. There is a lot to love about this resort, and only a few small negatives. This resort is very sprawling and covers a lot of ground. With how it is built into the jungle, it feels like a mini adventure park just walking around. They have several Mayan ruins, lots of kept and unkept wildlife, like monkeys, deer, and macaws. The main pool is huge and beautiful. It is slightly brackish (salty), but this I think is actually a plus. There are several kids areas and a very nice daycare program and play area. For us the ocean cove was a hit. Fish, activities, sand. Wonderful for relaxing. A snorkeling area, though water there is rougher and the entry needs work. Many other reviews complained of food and rooms being dated. For the premium restaurants, The Oriental restaurant is the best, The Mexican was okay, the rest were not a good fit for us. Buffets here are excellent and they clearly spend time and staff them to make it a premium experience. I highly recommend the buffets. Huge variety of food, most of which is very well prepared. Deserts and baked goods were very tasty everyday. As for the rooms, yes, they are showing their age some, but the beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, maintained, and everything worked as it should. Their wristband room keys are awesome. Common areas are beautiful and clean. "

"The resort was fine. I went with my family. They really pushed the Family Concierge tier. We opted not to get that add-on considering it was pricey, we already paid for the resort (thinking it was an all inclusive), and it seemed more geared for younger kids. But our room was close to amenities that were only available on that tier: separate pool, restaurant, and coffee bar. Each morning to have coffee before breakfast I had to walk past the Family Concierge coffee bar to the central on in the middle of the resort. We also found it was difficult to get a restaurant reservation. Everything was all booked or available only later at night. So, we ate in the buffet quite a bit, which gets old in a hurry."
