If you want to experience a quaint British stay, The Mariner's is a wonderful place. Marie and James are the most incredible hosts. They are friendly and so helpful. Our room (with an ensuite) was located on the top floor of this cute victorian seaside rowhouse. James showed his galiant strength by carrying my luggage all the way up to the third floor. God love him. Our toom was clean, spacious and had a lovely English charm. The ensuite is updated with modern amenties. James also does double duty as chef for our morning meal. With Marie acting as host and serve, the two serve wonderful breakfast options from a traditional English breakfast to the today's fashionable egg/avocado toast. Vegetarian breakfast options are also offered. The location is ideal and is in walking distance to the harbour, shops and pubs/restaurants. Overall our 4 day stay was extremely positive and very enjoyable. We highly recommend The Mariner's for your next stay in Plymouth.

This property is a little gem. James and Marie were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and had excellent facilities. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back.

Was here for one night for the Bryan Adams gig, this was a lovely guesthouse, the room was small and functional, but nicely appointed. The location near the Hoe was perfect for the gig being just a 15 minute walk away albeit up a very steep hill - though was downhill on the way back! The hosts were lovely and professional, and were all you could want. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning sets you up for the day, would highly recommend.
