"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
"Great location, great value ,excellent breakfast choice all cooked to order, grewt chef early morning with excellent female waiting staffing in the breakfast room "
"This is definitely a unique property right in the center of town. It is quaint and nicely renovated. The light comes in the windows early; no curtains in our dormer windows. The shower is tiny as is the sink. But the staff is wonderful."
"Staff were great very helpful
We did not stay in hotel as expected instead we was in coach house which was obviously used for construction workers there was a humming noise all day and night when we was in our room
The breakfast was value for money and plenty full "
