"Warning, the pool is only open on weekends. I was on a work trip and I brought my girls and my aunt along. We specifically chose this hotel because it had a nice pool outside so my girls could feel like they were on vacation. After work I had planned to lay out in the sun and spend the afternoons with them. You aren’t even allowed on the deck of the pool. I had to spend extra money for my aunt to keep them busy during the day. It was never posted or disclosed upon booking. I would have chosen the hotel hotel had I known. Otherwise, the hotel was really nice. It was clean and staff was friendly. Rooms seemed more spacious and decor was pretty."

"The reason for my choice of the hotel was primarily the location, and the convenience of ample parking. But I found that the staff were very helpful, particularly Nirmala, Nick and Haroon, who went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. My stay was for two visits, with a cruise trip in between. They were very helpful in keeping one of our bags while we were away. The housekeeping staff were also very attentive to our needs, making sure we had enough condiments, and the towels were changed as required. I must mention also the the proximity of restaurants, particularly Canton Manor, the Chinese restaurant was excellent. The breakfast provided was also imaginative, with changes to the menu now and then. I would certainly like to stay there again if I am in the Flushing/ Northern Blvd. area."

"Great hotel Unfortunately, like everything in New York, they charge an arm and a leg for valet overnight. They don’t really have a breakfast option inside the hotel and Limited snack, snacks, and food. The surrounding area could be cleaner. But if you’re in Queens would not be a bad choice"

"My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. My only complaint is the lack of maintenance in the common restrooms. The pool bathroom was broken and out of service during my stay, and several other bathrooms were missing paper towels. Improving the maintenance and upkeep of these facilities would greatly enhance the guest experience. Danny"

"Smoke detectors were going off for hours. Staff “couldn’t figure out” how to shut them off after someone burnt popcorn. We were traveling with an infant and they couldn’t find the cribs that are advertised as free/available. What a disaster and the staff was so unhelpful and apathetic."
