"This place was a pleasant surprise! The rooms are older but well taken care of. The surrounding grounds are beautiful with many blooming flowers. There are several places tuxked away to sit and relax. This is a beautiful hotel and very close to the center of Custer."

"I’ll be honest, I’ve never stayed at a roadside motel. I was a bit skeptical because I grew up in the 80s where serial killers and drug addicts were the typical motel goer (probably not true just what I thought). But when we were on the road and needed a place, a roadside motel was the only option so here we went! We pulled up and I went right into the front desk. "Very quaint and perfect for what we needed. The gal at the desk had pre stocked our rooms with breakfast items which was helpful since we planned to leave before the office opened. The cabins are quite small so keep that in mind, especially the bathroom. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable. Very convenient and casual though. "
