I ran-facing room was recently remodeled and the promised personal jacuzzi tub was not working. This was the only real miss. "Beautiful resort! Very friendly and helpful staff... Maria at the front desk, was especially polite and informative! With the gated property and multiple security officers on site, we felt 100% safe at all times. There was a sloth living in a tree on the beach right behind the property, and a kinkajou living in a tree by our balcony. We were able to see them on the daily... and the sounds of the various birds and howler monkeys were AMAZING!!! The pool area was beautiful, the dining area was very peaceful... and the food was wonderful. I can't say enough about this resort, and will definitely be returning!"

"Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. I love that it was removed from the fast pace of the road and beaches, but close enough to spend the day out and about. "
