"awesome pace filled with great staff"

"My stay at Grand Bavaro Princess was mixed overall. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the beach area is one of the highlights of the property. The rooms were clean, and some staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the facilities are showing their age and could benefit from significant updates. Many areas of the resort feel outdated compared to other resorts in the same category. The biggest disappointment was the level of service. While a few employees went above and beyond, the majority of the staff seemed uninterested in helping guests. Simple requests often felt like an inconvenience, and interactions were frequently lacking warmth or hospitality. On several occasions, it appeared that staff attitudes changed depending on whether a tip was given, and some employees seemed visibly frustrated when guests did not tip. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere that detracted from what should have been a relaxing vacation. Overall, the resort has potential thanks to its location, beach, and beautiful grounds, but improvements to the facilities and, more importantly, customer service would greatly enhance the guest experience. Based on my experience, I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars."

"Great resort. Some restaurants were good some were not so much. The pools are great. Swim up pools could use a heater to warm them up for night swims or mornings. Other than those negatives, the rest of the resort is great. The staff is amazing, drinks are good and the staff enjoy spending time with the guests."

"We had a great stay, fun time, the beach had seaweed that was hard to enjoy but nature is nature and it’s just a seasonal issue. They tried to remove as much as possible. Juan Bernardo was incredible poolside butler and always had a smile and super friendly. Carlos was very attentive room butler as well. He went above and beyond listened to our needs and was kind and detail oriented. Wish we were able to order quick bites poolside/beachside would be the only downfall for when you just want to stay and enjoy the day rather than have to stop to go get food. The resort offered fabulous shows in the evening and plenty of options to do activities during the day as well. Loved the cafe went every morning so missing the banana cake and iced coffee."
