"It's on a spectacular road of large Victorian houses & the room I stayed in was in keeping: it was large & high ceilinged. It & its shower room were very very clean. The welcome was helpful & friendly. I hope to stay again in the near future."

The bathroom was excellent with plenty of clean towels, flannels, shampoos etc. The breakfast choices covered vegetarian aswell as the full English cooked. "I have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. You get a real welcoming ‘local pub’ feel when you go in. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fantastic-large portions and a good choice on the menu. Sunday roast is great too!! Rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. An excellent place to stay so I would highly recommend. "
