"Bathroom needs some tlc. Heavily scaled shower and mould on sealant. Also very slow draining. Staff amazing, couldn't do enough for me. Bed comfortable but would want some more firmer pillows."

"Arriving is a little dodgy - we got there around noon, and had plans to meet friends. They wouldn't check us in, and told us if we got back after 11PM (when the pub closes) we would be unable to check in. They did hold our bags. This made us have to burn some time until 3PM when they could check us in, so we would have a key to re-enter later. Not super convenient. The room was 4 flights up, no lift, no offer to help with luggage, so if you are not pretty fit, look elsewhere. The stair was...

"Clean room but in need of refurbishing. Very hot during our visit so appreciated the fan but would have been more comfortable if the windows had opened fully. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water but shower control face missing. Staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold offerings."

"Ye Olde Ostrich never disappoints and it didn’t this time. This is a staple for me when catching an early flight or needing to leave a rental car when going into London. Top spot, great location, superbly staffed."

"I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again."
