"Rooms were clean and the staff Meena was so helpful. Always ready help and give us directions to places. I would recommend the hotel as was so neat tge railway station and town. Everything was near and walking distance. All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. . Hasu"

"Check in was quick and efficient and when we were given the wrong bed they moved us easily. Our room was spacious with a separate seating area. A massive bath with separate shower. The 2 windows gave us spectacular views. It was an easy walk to the Principality Stadium, straight through the town centre. Only issue was the breakfast hot table was broken so food was only warm. We were not told about this problem until I asked if they realised the food wasn't hot. Apparently the electrician who came to repair it had made it worse. We had paid for room with breakfast but no offer of a partial refund. Overall our stay was great and staff helpful. Yes I would definitely stay her again."

"I have stayed at the Angel previously but not for three or four years. The communal building is in need of lots of renovation. The chambermaids were efficient and friendly But the reception staff varied from friendly to disinterested. At breakfast there were not enough staff to replenish items. On one morning there were no plain tea bags and when I asked staff they could only locate de cafinated tea. We booked the restaurant for 8pm and when we arrived were told they close at 8pm. The greeter asked the chef and he agreed to cook for us. I grew up in Cardiff and really enjoyed my stay but I feel your hotel has some way to go to get even four stars."

"The front desk staff were amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our kids were happy to see a play area directly inside the lobby too. The room was nice, and it was useful to have a water dispenser on every level. Breakfast was good, selection could have been better but it was perfectly fine for a great start. The pool and spa facilities were a nice touch with both a proper steam room and sauna. I advise to go earlier as it can get busy with families in the pool. Gym is well kitted with a separate aerobic room too. Short walk to the St. John's Shopping Centre so no need to drive once you're there."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Tanes Hotel. The room was spacious, very clean and had all that we needed for 1 nights stay. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. Only downside was there was limited parking in the hotel car park but there was plenty of parking on the side streets nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again."
