"It was a bit frustrating driving 4 hrs to be told that our room wasn’t ready at 4:30 when check in time was 3. Then when we came back after attending the concert at the Strawberry festival there was no parking available because of all the construction equipment in the parking lot. But the young lady who was working allowed us to park in the front. She was extremely nice and the issues had nothing to do with her. "

"Here’s how you can put that together: First, the hotel has no Wi-Fi, which prevents me from using my laptop to handle tomorrow’s work. Second, the mattress still has a plastic cover on it that hasn’t been removed. It’s just a thin sheet on top, and when I lie down, it feels damp and clammy. Every time I turn over, the plastic makes a loud noise, which really affects my sleep quality."

We forfeited our payment as the room smelled musty; there was exposed plumbing in the bathroom, carpet was very old, water spotted ceiling in the room and the lobby. Shouldn't be listed on Expedia. Reviews/ratings did not accurately reflect the status of the motel. "

"Rooms were bare bones but not terrible. Cleanleness could use some improvements. The rooms even though non smoking smelt of smoke and woke up very stuffed up as a result( allergies) water temperature in the shower luke warm at best so be prepared!! Only had two towels nothing to put on the floor after showering or no hand towels to dry hands after washing. Bring your own toiletries as those aren't provided either. The blinds had dust built up on them and were light filtering at best so again not...

"There remodeling the rooms, no decor cheap paint job, the shower drain was slow to drain, I was afraid to actually take a shower. So I stepped out to go to my car and almost tripped over the construction materials in the front. My neighbors came out to introduce themselves and was complaining about no hot water in their room. Not good. "

"Very poor customer service. Failed to welcome us to hotel and failed to give status of room until we insisted and we did not get into room until after 3:00. Room was somewhat acceptable. Room telephone was out of service. Vanity sink was cracked. Precheck-in on online is not accepted at this hotel. We'll probably not stay at a Baymount by Wyndham again."

"If you’re thinking about staying in Lakeland, stay here! It’s close to everything, just a few miles to Joker Merchant Stadium, and Cheddar restaurant is in the same parking lot, it is delicious. We stayed 3 nights and had zero complaints/problems. The hotel is so clean, smells so fresh, rooms were roomy, beds comfortable, and clean, staff were all nice, and complimentary breakfast was delicious-not your normal free hotel breakfast. The pool and workout areas were also very nice. The best part is...

"Wonderful two week stay. Great coffee and breakfast. Staff was great. A bit concerning when a homeless man came in and helped himself to coffee. Front desk staff said that she couldn’t do anything about it because she was all alone and was fearful"
