"Bed was awful but the people who work there are extremely helpful and nice and the cooked breakfast was superb. Get a ev charger !!"

"Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Property is in need of some TLC, and could be an excellent venue. Gardens in need of de-weeding and some cutting back on trees, brambles etc."

"Fine stay."

"This is an old interesting building so you have to take that into consideration, Room was clean, staff very helpful, food very good . Parking is not a problem but be careful of the access. All in all an enjoyable stay, recommended."

"I received a very warm greetings g when I arrived and was shown to my room, the room was very clean with a view of the train station which was amazing. I had dietary requirements and they were very happy to help. I really enjoyed it and will definitely return"

Only down was noisy floor on the corridor outside rooms on first floor which creaked with every person walking the floor. Early morning or late evening. Needs a bit of work. Saying that it was good value for money amd would use the place again as access to Wast Water and area"

"Stayed five times, excellent hotel fro a short break away ."

"Very decent place to stay with comfortable rooms, welcoming and helpful people and a first class breakfast. I especially liked the vegetarian breakfast, the Motown music and jazz posters. Easy to find and good parking."
