"Fabulous stay , friendly staff , nothing was too much trouble. Food was beautiful at reasonable prices. Room was warm and very comfortable bed. Facilities good , the only thing that would improve is maybe a little redecoration , not to take the originality out of this historic building but just to freshen up a bit and a mirror on the wall under the television for ease when styling hair etc whilst sat at the desk. This would not stop us staying again though - perfect stay "

"We rarely get a break from our business so we are always so happy to find little gems like the Brocket. We loved the relaxed charm of the whole place. The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. "My room was absolutely lovely - fan on and window open ready for me on what was a very hot day. Very clean, comfortable and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner excellent as was the breakfast. EV charger most welcome too. "

"My Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming. Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly. A good stay. Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue"
