"This is a beautiful hotel which has maintained it's old-world charm. The staff were all so preofessional but also genuinely warm and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds and linens very comfortable and the bathrooms updated but blended well with the decor.
The rooftop bar/restaurant has wonderful views and again very clean with excellent coffee and food.
The hotel is centrally located in Manhattan which makes anything you have planeed easy to access."

"My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter in NYC. Great location and within walking distance of subway stations, restaurants, and Bryant Park. We enjoyed the library themed rooms and all the books! We did take advantage of the free continental breakfast on the second floor each morning with coffee, pastries, and light snacks which was very nice. We also liked Bookmarks, the rooftop lounge, to relax after a long day of walking and exploring NYC.
The only complaint we had was...

"We came to New York for the marathon and couldn’t have been happier with our hotel choice! The location was absolutely perfect. Even with all the road closures on race morning, we were able to easily walk to several different spots to watch and cheer on the runners. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. We also loved having so many wonderful restaurants, shops, and things to explore just steps away. We really enjoyed our stay and felt like we were right in the...

"Very friendly staff from check-in to check-out. The hotel is beautifully appointed and cozy with a sophisticated vibe. The breakfast food options are very good with the exception of the coffee which tasted terrible. I liked the tasteful decorations in the rooms and the bathrooms were very nice with plush towels. It is fairly quiet considering where the hotel is (conveniently) located for Broadway shows and near Times Sq. However, because of the way the bathroom 'windows' are designed you can...
