"I saw someone share photos of this Onsen on instagram and had to see if they had rooms available. I’m so glad I did! The property is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and kind, and the food was exceptional. I got a room with a balcony over the fish pond and a private bath and I enjoyed every second of my stay. I will absolutely come back the next time I am in Japan.
The trip from Tokyo was about an hour by train, and the Onsen has shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off when you...

"Beautiful, Quiet Room with Great Views — But Service Doesn't Match the Price
The room was absolutely beautiful and very quiet, with a wonderful view. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and both the Japanese-style breakfast and dinner were excellent — some of the best food I had on the trip. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the service level: at $600 a night, I'd expect more personal attention, such as help with luggage and being escorted to the room. Those small touches...

"スタッフさんの対応など客室はまた泊まりたいと思えるほど良かったです！露天風呂も好きな時間に自由に入れるのでとても良かったです!!
ただアメニティが充実していないので綿棒、コットンなど持参しないといけないです。
また客室にスリッパがなく朝晩は冷えるため秋冬は足が冷えてしまいます。"

"Super relaxing stay for 4 of us. Nice hot tub on the patio with a selection of included bath salts and face masks. Included a nice selection of wines and other drinks. They brought an awesome full steak dinner for us to bbq on a beautiful glass patio. Also brought a nice complete breakfast with juices coffee tea. Overall one of our best memories of Japan!"

"This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend."
