"Charming hotel and great location. Bar and restaurant onsite were very nice and handy. Breakfast was amazing! Hospitality of the staff, also amazing. Don't let limited parking scare you, they have a nice arrangement for inexpensive overnight parking just across the street. Older facility, so don't expect air conditioning, and of course we stayed there during a historical heat wave in the UK for May. On normal nights, I think temps would be fine. Would recommend and stay at again."

"I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

"We were very lucky to get a parking spot as it was just on the road at the front of the building. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the en-suite consisted of toilet and shower only - the wash hand basin was in the bedroom where there were no towel rails. The gentleman who greeted us was excellent as he had to do everything including cooking the breakfasts due to his manager being unwell."

"We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place."

"Property was overpriced for what it is. No parking The room was really hot and had no air conditioning, I asked the manager for a fan to the cool the room down but he didn’t have one. Had to leave the windows open for some air but the traffic which is constant kept us awake. The Rug in the middle of the room was filthy couldn’t walk round without shoes on. Hairs all in the bathroom. 1 Sachet of decaffeinated coffee And some tea bags from a used box. No milk or caffeinated coffee. No...

"Brilliant stay in a fantastic cottage. Very kind and communicative owners, who were very generous in their welcome gesture towards me. The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you could wish for for a short and longer stay. The cottage is very spacious and also peaceful and quiet so you can enjoy a truly relaxing time away. Great location to explore the coastline or Kent in land. "We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire."

"This is a basic, old, seaside hotel on the sea front. Price wise, if there hadn't been any issues, I would say you get what you pay for. However, there were issues, I made a pay on arrival booking for 5 rooms, they took two of the payments from my account several days before my stay then lied saying EXPEDIA had taken them.
