"Rooms were clean, spacious and contemporary. Very nice and comfortable stay. The garage has a spiral drive going up and is very nerve wrecking to us but a fun experience for sure. Convenient to downtown and walking distance to everything downtown San Diego. The restaurant inside has delicious eats and starbucks style/flavored coffee in the morning. "

"Lived in San Diego county my entire life. Worked in downtown 10 years and yet never spent the night there. I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were funny and very helpful. The roof top deck is amazing, so cool to get that perspective of downtown. It was especially cool that the building is a piece of downtown San Diego history, being a native San Diegan that meant a lot to me."

"The hotel is really beautiful! Originally built as a bank in 1928, the lobby is stunning and the downstairs has the vaults and artifacts that are very interesting. The rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and gave us an upgrade without our asking. I would stay here again and recommend it for events in DT SD."
